Amanda is the best!! Every woman needs someone like her to walk alongside them during pregnancy and birth. She is a wealth of knowledge, a wise and calm presence, and incredibly kind and thoughtful. She helped me process so many things before the birth, she offered resources and advice, she answered my random questions with so much patience, and she played a critical role in making my birth more comfortable, prayerful, and redemptive. She truly is a Godsend and I’m so grateful for her support and friendship. If you’re on the fence about if you want a birthkeeper, I would recommend Amanda every time!

"Amanda was a fantastic doula during my recent pregnancy and birth experience! She is knowledgeable, helpful, and supportive. She took the time to listen and understand all my concerns and history from a previous birth experience. Amanda was helpful in processing that and moving confidently forward with my second pregnancy. She helped me develop a birth plan I felt good about and was always available for questions I had. If she didn't know the answer, she found one.
My birth plan didn't end up happening exactly how we imagined from the start, with me having a c-section afterall. Even through the process of a c-section Amanda was incredibly helpful and I couldn't have done it without her! She helped make me comfortable, advocated for me in the hospital, and supported the entire process at my side.

Amanda was WONDERFUL to work with. She was knowledgeable about all things birth. She helped me finalize my birth plan. She provided me with research about different interventions, vaccines, and hospital protocols so I could decide what was best for my baby and I. She answered texts in a timley manner and always answered her phone when I called. In the hospital, she supported me in choosing to decline interventions. Amanda was quick to give me support and comfort measures. She helped my husband comfort me as well. She was a support person for us both. I had an incredible birth and I can credit Amanda for helping that happen.
