What do visits look like?

Prenatal appointments will be used to get to know each other, go over physiological birth education, talk about your birth plan, your concerns, your birth history, diving deep into your dreams and worries, planning for postpartum, and anything else you want to talk about. I can also give you massage, help with belly mapping and other hands on skills and bonding techniques, assist in preparing or planning meals for postpartum (at your last appointment), and help you to gather any birth supplies you may need. During postpartum appointments we can talk about your birth story, how you're adjusting to motherhood, your nursing journey (if you are breastfeeding), newborn care, answer any questions or concerns you have, and discuss anything else on your mind. I can also give you resources and information on things like safe bedsharing, infant development, babywearing, etc. I will assist with light house work, prepare nourishing meals and warming beverages for you, offer massage, assist with sibling bonding, teach infant care if needed, help with babywearing education, run you a warm herbal bath, and more. I have a lending library of books for in-person clients to use until our last postpartum meeting, as well as tools and supplies to borrow such as baby carriers, fetoscope/doppler, weigh scale, Rebozo, blood pressure cuff, heating pad, etc. (See 'Recourses' tab.)
